VersaCloud logs every call

The goal of being able to audit our cloud-based time-limited transaction manager's operation and calls to back-end servers connected to it, was defined in order to allow for corporate audit procedures, as well as technically measuring performance and availability of all tiers involved. To materialize this goal, our single entry point engine registers each and every API call it receives into the API call log. A sample portion of the Call Log is depicted in Figure 13.

The API call log records each API call's name and operation handle, all of its parameters, its return value (including success or error), as well as the billing information (who and how much was paid for the call), if applicable. Records are added to the API Call Log as part of the final steps of each API call's execution.
